Hola! I was just surfing the net and came across this year's NDP theme song titled What Do You See. I think it's different from other NDP theme songs I heard. It's much more to a youth feeling, not like those typical NDP songs. And oh, it's by Singapore's local band Electrico.

So yah, that's all eh. (Actually I got no much to blog about.) =p

I'm Back (Again)!!

I know it's been more than a month. But blame my committed life! LOL! Okay, maybe I should just get straight to the point. So yeah, three-week holiday had just ended. Came back to school today just to find out that every student have to take their temperature at the school foyer. This H1N1 mayhem is sure making everyone be more cautious. Good.

My holiday was a hectic one. Went to school most of the time to help Mdm Bok with the Beach Fiesta stuffs. ITE is organising this sports event in conjuction with YOG at Sentosa this coming August. And I'm part of this too!

Apart from that, I was busy with the Asian Youth Games. Yeah, I was actually one of the thousands volunteers. It was pretty slacky but it was really fun! Seeing athletes around asia coming to Singapore was a good experience. The friendship I made was just great and the teamwork among us was simply awesome. Alright, I think I'm just plain crapping, eh? So here are the photos...

A Celebration For The Kakak

It's been quite a while I didnt update this space. Well, school has been really demanding these days. But things are getting lighter now, so yeah, finally I have time to update this place...

So anyways, the HadFiks had a celebration for our dearest kakak last Sunday. Held it at BBQ Chicken Ceneleisure. Thanks to the student promotion that made my day! LOL! =p I ordered this Minced Beef Steak it was simply juicy!

Archuleta In Singapore!

So yeah, went down to the newly-opened shopping mall at Bugis right after a long day in school yesterday. There are actually two things I wanna see. The shopping mall itself and yeah, David Archuleta!

I'm not a big fan (just a small fan, hehe) of his but I thought it's the only 'free' way to watched DA live and yeah, I'm sure the next time he drop by to Singapore will be ages later. He sang four songs and one of them is Crush. So okay, photos.....

Yeah, that's DA. My camera sucks at times. This is the clearest I could get. I was actually way behind. Not to mention the crowd I have to endure just to catch a glimpse of DA.

I actually moved to another place to get a good view. Eventually, I ended up right above the stage where I can only see his head. But still, it's a good view!

And not to mention the crazy crowd! Gosh...

So yeah, that's about it. I saw some of my friends going up on stage to get DA's autograph. And I know Syafiqah is now the happiest person on earth. hehe...

So what do I think of Iluma? Love the outside. The light effects are fascinating. But I think it's just another typical shopping mall in Singapore. And oh, tomoro is the opening of another shopping mall! Tampines 1. Might go there tmr to check out the place!

Spectacular!

I was actually introduced to this Nickelodeon movie by a friend. He said it's a lil bit better than HSM. So yeah, I've just watched it online and I think it was GREAT!

It's about this guy who wants to achieve his dream to become an artiste and one way for that to happen is that he has to come up with a demo. To do that, he needs money. So yeah, he joined this choir group called Spectacular to get money to make his demo. And to get that money, they have to compete in this choir group competition.

But, he was not that interested in the choir group. But soon after, he was really passionate in it. So yeah, watch for yourself to know more about the movie. I actually watched it online here. And oh, watched the last performance. I found it simply awesome...

So I rate this movie a 4 out of 5 stars!

One moment, I was nervous. One moment, I was worried. And at one moment, I was happy. That, were the feelings I had on this April Fools Day.

Nervousity (got such word or not?). I mean come on, everyone gets nervous at times! Especially when you are about to know that your exam results is actually the next day! I was actually informed the day before the results are out. So yeah, last minute nervousity. And oh, I achieved the results that I wanted, which to get all As for all my modules. And yeah, here it is...

Fundamentals of Industrial Automation - A
Lifeskills - Excellent
PE - Satisfactory

So yeah, alhamdullilah...

Next feeling is worrify. LOL! I was actually worried about my results. But now I know the results, so yeah... But what worry me the most is my mum. She is not feeling well these days. I have been doing most of the chores at home but I ain't complaining lah. It's my responsibility. So yeah, pray that she get well soon,, aite? =)

Happification. Wow, such unusual vocabularies I'm using here! Well, you know why I'm happy. Need not explain further eh?! hehe...

Watched Kak Ad's performance at the Esplanade recently. Went with the bros and the sisters. Believe me, the sound of violin is so soothing that it can make you relax after a stress day at work or school. Took a group photo. Here it is...

I'm A Handphone Maniac.

This week has been quite a sadden week for my family. We had just loss a member in the family community. My grandaunt, which is quite close with my family, had just passed away two days ago. She's my dad's aunt, my Tok Busu.

Berikanlah bacaan Al-Fatihah agar rohnya dicucuri Rahmat. Amin.

So okay, let's change the topic.

After sticking my eyes on the laptop screen for hours and hours, finally, I came up with a design, for don't know how many times in my blogging life. I found this design cool though. Especially the header, which the credits goes to my pal who took the photo of me at Esplanade rooftop a couple of months ago. I edited it using Photobucket and yeah, the results is fascinating.

And oh, still remember the HadFiks Valentine's Day outing I had? I have uploaded all the photos here, like finally. Feel free to browse around, aite!

Well, I think I have about 2 months till I can change to a new phone. Hurhur... I've been eyeing on some of the phones for quite sometime now.

The first phone I'm eyeing on is this one...

I want something new. So I'm thinking of changing to a phone that has a QWERTY keypad. Or maybe a touch screen phone. As for this Nokia E63 beauty, I found it simple yet amazing. As a frequent internet user, I think it's a good choice for me. What's great about it, it's affordable.

Next phone I'm crazy over is this one...

The HTC Touch Pro. I love the QWERTY keypad that slides out from the side of the phone. And yeah, it's also a touch screen phone! So yeah, it's quite an expensive phone for a student like me. But I have two months to save up. Why not?

This is actually the latest phone which is yet to be released. But I think it will be out for sale two months from now. Presenting, the Nokia E75...

It looks like a normal phone but actually it isn't. It has this, again, QWERTY keypad on the side of the phone. Yeah, I'm really hinting on a QWERTY keypad phone next! Cos I think it's cool and it makes it easier for web browsing too.

What's great about all these three phones is that it has WiFi, which is a must-have-function for me. So okay, I think Ihave exactly two months from now to save up. Just can't wait for May to come and get my hands on one of these devices. So okay, enough of me ranting.

Some of you might not have known but my life as a first year student in ITE is officially over last week. Gosh, how time really flies. Well, I'm having my holidays now. 4 weeks and 5 days to be precise! So yeah, waiting anxiously for my second and last year.

My exam papers were okay. I managed to do both core modules. Though I took some risk for APA but I really hope I'm doing the right thing. Aiming for a 4 GPA points this time round. I have worked hard this semester and hope that it pays off in the end. Ya Allah, hanya kau saje yang tahu...

Year 2 is gonna be a tough year I guess. Oh ya, I was promoted as president for my CCA. I was shocked but Alhamdullillah, dah rezeki katekan... So you know, year 2 is gonna be full of CCA committments, projects and so.

So as for now, I'm available for meet-ups. I'm just a phone call away. Kwang3~

It's call updating

My interest in blogging is rather becoming slimmer. I only update this place like once or twice a week. Or sometimes once in two weeks. Reason being, one of them, is school. If not for school, it's laziness. But honestly, there's nothing much for me to blog about these days. But still, I will try to update this place more often.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. I did celebrate it. But it was way in advanced! On 8th Feb to be precise. Celebrate with the HadFiks ladies. Also celebrated sis Zari and Kak Noris birthdays. Dress code was black and red. It's like an annual color dress code for us.

So yeah, celebrated it at Sedap Corner at Simpang Bedok. I was surprised to see Chef Bob welcomed me there. And yeah, how can I forget to take a photo with him? =|

Thank you to Abang Mail for the treat! Totally not expected! I have yet to upload the photos at Multiply. Blame my internet connection for being disloyal to me at times. =P

So okay, happy belated birthday to Kak Noris & happy advanced birthday to sis Zari!

Countdown, Im just less than a month away from my exam. It's my last exam for my first year. And Im about just two months away from becoming a year two student. The second and final year for me in ITE. But of course, I will soon have to face some changes.

Adapting myself to changes is good though. But, at times, you tend to hate it. As for me, I have this mixed feeling. A like-hate feeling. I like it because the challenges ahead of me is something that Im looking forward to. But I hate it because I feared that the bond that ties between my cliques and I will be affected.

Of course, all of us chose the same specialization course when we go to year 2 but that doesn't determine if we are gonna be in the same class again. At first, I thought that Im the only one who have this feeling but I was wrong. My cliques do have too. They have been talking about it. As for me, I have been thinking about it.

So now, the only thing I can do is to go with flow. And of course, pray and hope for the best.

Alright, time check it's 11.36pm. Gonna get some sleep. Have to wake up way early tmr morning to do some exercising!

I've been cracking my brains for the past few days studying for that APA test. And finally, it was accomplished. In fact, I already knew my results and I'm happy with it. Alhamdulillah.

So anyways, I was so busy studying that I didnt have the time to update this space of mine with the recent events happened.

So yeah, let me see. I've been.....

EXERCISING! Believe it or not, after wasting precious time in life, I have finally started exercising. It's one of my new year resolutions to lose weight. It was rather an awkward experience for me. I was abit shy to face the world out there. But still, exercising in the early morning is coooooooling. =D

Okay, enough of that crap.

Oh yah! I almost forgot. Went for a dinner at Holiday Inn Window on the Park with HH Comm. It's our post-bash dinner to be precise. Love the food there. In fact, I love buffet food! Cos it's ALL you can eat!

IT'S BOWLING TIME!

Had a class bonding activity once again last Wednesday. This time, we decided to have a game of bowling. So yeah, went to bowl at Safra Tampines, which happens to be just beside the school. And that's what makes Tampines ITE your best choice! LOL! =p

So anyways, Afiq brought his guitar to entertain everyone (macam paham!). Suddenly everyone started singing. Spent the whole day at Safra singing our lungs out! LMAO! Such a good way to destress ourselves! =D

Dy PINK & BLACK Party

The annual birthday bash was again graced with full of fun and excitement especially with the appearance of Hady, who turned this event into one of those memorable events ever organised by the HapyHadys Team. Wow, such a long sentence!

But this time, it was held at a very relaxing atmosphere venue, the Goldkist Beach Resort. Desires Cafe to be exact. What's so great about this cafe is that it is facing the sea! So yeah, the sea breeze was cooling in quite a hot afternoon.

HapyHadys started to arrive at around 11.30pm. Everyone was seated, waiting anxiously for the man to arrive. But before that, yummy food, in a form of buffet, was served before his arrival so that fans will have the energy to bring the house down once Hady has arrived!

He was late. An hour late I guess. But still, the fans waited patiently. He arrived at the cafe at around 1.30pm. And everyone went gah gah. And that is when things started to spice up!

The games was fun. Don't Forget Hady's Lyrics and scavenger hunt! HapyHadys was really into them! Attractive prizes were given away for the games and lucky draw. And one of them is a 4GB SONY THUMBDRIVE! I am so crazy over that thing. Tapi da takde rezeki. Takpe lah... LOL!

It's been ages since I updated this place. Sorry for the lack of updates peepz! I've been coming home late after school for the pass few days. Quite alot of committments to accomplish. One of them is Hady's birthday bash. And yeah! It's just hours away! I'm pretty excited about the event. Part of me is also worried. Hopefully it goes well as planned.

So yeah, I've been doing some shopping lately for the celebration. Since the dress code is pink and/OR black, I decided to be in fully black but hopefully with some pink somewhere. And I'm gonna share some of the things I bought...

Chaotic

Just had the CCA roadshow held at Macpherson ITE. It was tiring. Running around the school, trying to promote people to join the club was one hack of a job! But thanks to all the members who came to set up the booth and helping out with the selling and promoting.

Met new friends today at the roadshow. They're friendly and supportive. I have never seen anyone so enthusiast in their CCA before. Willing to give opinions and what nots to improve the club's situation. This is great! Hopefully I can work well with them in the CCA for this whole year. And yeah, can't wait to meet the new batch of course!

I can feel that my life in 2009 is getting chaotic. Things getting harder and challenges are yet to come. The role Im currently enrolled in is harder than I thought. Hopefully everything we go on smoothly.

First day

School has just opened today. Quite chaotic but still, I miss school. Well, new students just came in, from all walks of life. Im kinda busy with school committments nowadays. Been running around finding stuff and making calls for the upcoming CCA roadshow. Hopefully everything will go well and more members will join the club.

And btw... I wont be blogging much. Just short and sweet posts. My daily randoms. Just like a dairy lahh. Unless there's something big for me to blog, then it will be a long post.

Auld Lang Syne

The year 2008 has been a year of challenges for me. Many ups and downs, many opportunities and obstacles. Since the new year has open a new chapter in me, let me type down my new year resolutions. I know that I should make my resolutions before the new year but since it's the first day of the new year, why not? Weeeeeeeeee!

1. Lose weight. Yeah, I have made empty promises last time. But this time, Insya-Allah, I'll try my best to lose some weight. I need to go on diet and I will reduce my intake of fastfoods. If possible, stop fastfood. Drink more plain water and reduce on soft drinks. I will try my best.

2. Budget control. From now on, I will penned down the things I spent into a notebook. Every single cent of it. With this way, I will know what I spent in a day. Apart from that, I'll try to save some money and reduce my spending to at least $5 per day.

3. Be punctual. I have been coming to class late. Especially morning classes. I need to sleep early and hopefully SBS will make bus services 21 and 15 to come early on every interval.

4. Be committed to school. I'm sure it's gonna be another challenging year for me. I will be in year 2 this coming April 09. Meaning that there will be more challenges for me to face. And yeah, I'll be promoted to become the VP for my school's Greenery Club. Alhamdullillah.

5. To open my newly set-up business. Im opening an online business soon, hopefully. It will be open somewhere mid January. Planning is still going on. Website is currently under construction. I'll be selling homemade bookmarks, potpurri frames and many more! So yeah, stay tune for taufikq EMPIRE!

I'm sure there are more things coming up. So yeah, Im just gonna go on with the flow. So here wishing you a...

Album Review - David Cook

David Cook - David Cook
I'm back! This time I'm gonna be reviewing an album that I think is the best so far! It's from American Idol 7 winner, DAVID COOK! So yeah, read on with my personal reviews on each songs! There are 14 songs in total. 12 tracks, 1 hidden track and 1 bonus track.

1. Declaration
A very nice fast rock number. The lyric are quite catchy and what's more, it will make you groovin' while listening! My ratings for the song is 10/10. Kudos!

2. Heroes
A very soothing and at the same time rocking (hope that's the right vocab I'm using) piece of song to listen too! Again, it's really catchy though. "This heroes come and gooooo..." My ratings? 9/10 y'all!

3. Light On
This is the debut single of DC's album. Light On is a smooth-kinda rock song and it's really good to listen to. But what disappoint me is that the music video has less connection to the song itself. But still, the song still has my vote! I'll give it a 9/10!

4. Come Back To Me
The starting part of the song reminds me of The Tarzan theme song. It has this jungle type of melody at first. But yeah, I really love this song! A very nice melody and lyrics to listen to. 10/10 is the best rating y'all!

5. Life On The Moon
What a beautiful song this is! It's like a love song. Well, a 9/10 for this one!

6. Bar-Ba-Sol
I gotta admit, this song has been on repeat mode in my phone's mp3! It is so groovy that I can't stop my neck from doing some dancing! If you know what I mean. This song has this frustrated feel to it. It's as if someone is frustrated over something and trying to let it out. Really good I must say! 10/10 ratings explain it all!

7. Mr. Sensitive
This song is practically an introduction to someone called Mr. Sensitive. hehe... But honestly, I don't find this song that interesting. But on the bright side, David has really made this song lively or it could be a disaster if someone else sings it. I give it 7/10 ratings.

8. Lie
A really impressive song indeed. Love the lyrics and also the way David delivered the song. It has this emotional feel to it. A 8/10 not bad after all!

9. I Did It For You
A smooth-rock vocal from David himself. The melody of the song is good but not great. Nevertheless, maybe if you have a girlfriend, you'll find this song suitable for you to sing to her. :) 8/10 is my ratings for it!

10. Avalanche
Another song which I admire. David has really delivered something that I think is different. It gave me goosebumbs everytime he made this falsetto. A 9/10 is a must! =) "Crashing downnn..."

11. Permanent
A really emotional song from David Cook. The song is about David's brother, Adam Cook, who is diagnosed with brain cancer. You can really feel David's feelings while listening to this song. The lyrics are deep and meaningful and it really reflects the love that David has for his brother, who is fighting for his life. A 9.5/10 rating is from me.

12. A Daily Anthem
So-called the conclusion song in the list. A Daily Anthem is a good effort by David. It concludes the whole album cos it's an anthem. The ending part of the song is really breath-taking to me. My rating shall be 8.5/10!

Hidden track - Kiss On The Neck
Basically, it's a hidden track. A happy-go-lucky type of song I guess. It's a fast rock song but it's quite a good song to listen to. 7/10 is the rating!

Bonus Track - The Time Of My Life
This song reminds me of David's idol journey towards his winning. This song is his first single that everyone had listened to. To my opinion, it's the best American Idol winning song after I Believe by Fantasia. A 9/10 is suitable for this.

So yeah, that's my review about this album. Phewww... It took my hours to finish this up! My overall ratings? I shall give it a 8/10 stars! Kudos, David Cook!

Season's Greetings

First of all...

A Merry Christmas shout out to all of those celebrating it be it my friends, strangers and anyone I know!

I dont know about you guys but, to me, Christmas is like a festival for all to celebrate regardless of race, language or religion. But of course, what I meant was exchanging gifts with your fellow friends or collegues and gather together and that's all. But really, the Christmas atmosphere does brings everyone together at times.

So yeah, exactly a week to go to a brand new year. Im looking forward for it especially this coming 31st cos I will be counting down to 2009 at Marina Bay! Hopefully everything goes well on that day and pray that the weather is kind enough. Apart from Marina Bay, I will be also joining in the fun at Boon Lay countdown as well.

Christmas eve was great. It's raining and it's cold outside. It makes me feel like as if it was snowing in Singapore. And yeah, spent my time at Vivo alone after helping my parents at the stall. Went to Seoul Garden to eat fooooooooood!

I went there with my peepz for our holiday outing. It was XP's idea to have lunch at SG. So yeah, decided to give it a try since I have never eat there before. The only table BBQ dinner I had was years ago at Hans River.

I really love the food there! Affordable price and the best part is, ALL YOU CAN EAT! Haha yeah, we were practically taking food till we were full! And having the fact that we are students, we get to pay at at cheaper rate! So yeah, let me shout this out...

5 things to do before 2009

Well, I suddenly came up with this post. Since 2009 is just weeks away, there are still things for me to accomplish before I start ahead a new chapter in 2009. So yeah, presenting my top 5 so-called missions:

1. To complete that never-ending project report!
That LP project took mostly this whole semester to be completed! Yes, from 1st to the 9th week. But heck, my team just did our oral presentation infront of the whole class last week (week 8). Thank god!

Since this week is week 9, we're just left with the report. It's simply a recall of what we have been doing for the past weeks to complete the project. Yeah, Daniel and I had to crack our brains to think about the things we did for the past weeks. But thanks to my phone's calender for most of the help! And also to our brains for the thinking. So, that's that.

2. The much anticipated term break!
This is now week 9. Yes! It's the last week of school in ITE. Gosh, how time really flies. I really need this break. It's time for me to work to earn some cash cos I'm sure you people out there will ask me out! haha... But mostly importantly, no more going home at 5! In case you're wondering where I'm gonna work, it's my parents' stall to be precised.

3. Nephews Hanash & Harith birthday party!
I'm supposed to attend another HM event. But have to miss that out cos my cousin is holding a birthday party for my two adorable nephews! Family comes first don't ya agree? So yeah, 13th December 08, I'll be waiting for you.

4. Outing with the gang during holidays.

Wow, how amazing time flies. It's December now and just less that a month away to 2009. Honestly, 2008 is not really a good year for me. Many ups and downs, but mostly, downs. Not all of my 2008 resolution went out well, nor were they accomplished. So yeah, I'll do my new year resolution next time yeah?

Boys Day Out!

Had an outing with the usual gang last week. It's more like a photoshoot outing rather than a usual outing. But it was all fun and hell yeah, tiring! But still, there's a DSLR camera and a photographer (Afiq). hehe... So, I can't believe that I'm saying this, thank you abang Afiq. HAHAHAHAHA!

So let me tell you a story about the four friends...

Once upon a time, there were four friends, acted like tourists, who went to an outing to the town...

Introducing... Marc, Syameer, Hakeem & Taufiq...

They were trying to find a place where they could hang out or perhaps, a place where they can chill. So they looked around, high and low, left and right, to find the perfect place...

But where is Taufiq? Isn't he supposed to look for a place with them? But instead...

HE WAS ADMIRING THE SINGAPORE SKYSCRAPERS! Whatttt????!!!!

So, Hakeem decided to give a piece of his mind to Taufiq for not helping out. Eventually, Taufiq apologised... He was warned if he suddenly went MIA again, Hakeem will punch him in the face!

So, the four friends decided to make their way to...

YES, THE ESPLANADE!! So, while on their way to the Esplanade, they took some shots of themselves

Taufiq was worried and stressed out because their tour bus left them unattended!! And Marc loves it...

So, after wasting their precious time along the way, they finally settled at the Esplanade rooftop.

But again, WHERE THE HELL IS TAUFIQ?????!!!

Oh, there was a phone call for him...

Again, Hakeem approached him and tried to punch him, as promised. But, Taufiq was quick enough to stop him. And appear of no where, Syameer came in...

After the scene, Syameer was punched and injured himself...

And became retarded. hehehehehehe.... But don't you worry, it only happened for a few minutes...

So, the four friends decided to take a shot for their so-called album cover that is yet to be released in 2012 (inside joke).

And this happens to be the perfect one!

So after that, they went to the Merlion Park to admire the scenery of Marina Bay. Taufiq and Hakeem was so impressed that the willingly to take multiple of shots of this...

Nice background isnt it? So, the four friends met up near the Merlion...

And they kept chit-chatting away until our photographer was fed-up cos they kept ignoring his orders!

So eventually, Afiq left the four friends and took other scenery photos and the story of the four friends ends there with a motiveless conclusion.

And so, they live sadly ever after...

First of all, sorry for not updating this space of mine. I was either busy with school committments or simply lazy to update it. Haha, yeah.

So anyways, today is December 1st 2008. It's World AIDs Day. So, in conjunction with this day, let me blog about the World AIDs Day concert that I recently attended, the Love Amplified concert, that was held at Fort Canning Park!

It was one of my most tiring event that I attended. Worst, I was not tired during the concert itself. It was before I catch the concert. Climbing the hill from Clarke Quay to the top of the hill was one hell of a hike. haha... Suddenly it brings me back memories way back in 2004, when I was having a jungle hinking at Pahang. But at least, an exercise is good for me!

So, back to topic, I was there with fellow HapyHadys and friends.

Yeah, that's us!

I think there were about 1000 people who attended the concert. They were fans, family and friends. It's like a picnic-style concert where everyone was sitting on the grass with food and drinks in their hands.

Every performances were great. I love Strikeforce's performance the most. Their percussion display were breath-taking! No wonder they were called Singapore's largest percussion group.

Apart from that, good music and acts were played by the performances/singers. But, I was there to support Hady. He sang Freedom first followed by Merpati and then U2's Beautiful Day. I have heard him singing all these songs a thousand of times. It's time for something new dude! One year you know!!! Haiz... And there's also a Finale song which he sang with all the artistes.

Harmony For Humanity

Went to another Mercy Relief event called the Harmony For Humanity concert. And it was held at Tampines. It's more like a carnival. So yeah, Hady was there to perform. Having the fact that he injured his leg, he still make an effort to come down. He just sang one song, which is, Ordinary People.

Okay, as for now, let the pictures do the talking cos I'm tired. LOL.

Performances by FP and Budak Pantai was great! Budak Pantai sang a song from Dato Siti Nurhaliza and the crowd went cheering away! Then a funny skit by a group of actors and one of them happens to be Fadlur Rahman.

After concert has ended, went back stage to celebrate birthdays for two of HapyHadys beautiful ladies, Becky and Ms Manager, Alison.

So yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BOTH OF THEM!!

Behold, A(nother) New Look!

A couple of days ago, I've been thinking on whether I should revamp my blog. Apparently, if you have notice, I did. So yeah, introducing the so-called newly refurbished design!

Basically, I want to have a music-themed design. But due to the lackness of photo-editting technology, I have to make a really simple music skin. It is so simple that not everyone knows it's a music-themed skin. But then, there's a treble clef in the header and that should explain it all. hehe...

Alright, enough of me crapping about that. Now, some overdue pictures to share...

I'm learning how to play a guitar. Yeah, I'm still a noob at it. So far, after being taught by a friend at his crib, I managed to come up with a tune for a birthday song. And guess what, I played the whole song correctly with full of emotions (crap!). So anyone wants me to play a birthday song on a guitar for your birthday??? Jangan malu, jangan segan ye! Okay, I'm just joking.

The group shot above at least it's okay but my solo shot was disasterious. I should take care of my diet from now on. I mean seriously, I still have a few years left till I am enlisted to NS and I should make my decision right now.

Don't Forget My Lyrics?

Watched the recording of Don't Forget The Lyrics Singapore last Monday. I went for the first episode, which was the Pop Star episode featuring the contestants from Singapore Idol. Who else will it be if not for Hady Mirza, Taufik Batisah and Jonathan Leong!

The recording was held on a Monday which was seriously a wrong day! And it was a three-hour recording and it started at around 8.30pm. So yeah, you guessed right. Reached home at around midnight. Wonder why didn't the producers remember the fact that the next day is a Tuesday?! And..... Did I mention that the time stated in the ticket was 7.15pm? So why start at 8.30pm? Weird.

So on the brighter side, it was a great show. Great music and the stage was nice. The three idols did great for this charitable episode. They raised a total sum of $25000 for five charity organisations. So yeah, enough spoilers! Go watch it this 27th November only on Channel 5! hehe...

So okay, decided to watch HSM 3 with clan on Wednesday. Reason we chose on that day is because there were no lessons. FIA was cancelled cos Mr Goh got something on and Lifeskill was replaced with this workshop that I have to attend. So yeah, went to GV at TM after that to catch the movie. Liza, Aqillah and Hwee EE tagged along too! Hahaha... Another class bonding perhaps? =D

Okay, my review about HSM3... IT'S GREAT!!! Love the sets and songs and dances and...... Many more! It's much better than the previous seasons! You should catch it to believe it! I shall give it 4 out of 5 stars! Alright, enough of Wednesday drama!

The next morning, I was told by Mdm Bok that I won something from a competition. I got third place in this press flower competition by the Greenery Club. Let the prize be a secret. hehe... If you want to know what it is, ask me personally aite? But anyways. I'm collecting the prize at Macpherson ITE during the prize giving ceremony this Tuesday.

Then Bala from Greenery called me telling me that I have to stay back after school to do some bookmarks for the directors and principals for this Tuesday's event. Here's my creations...

HapyHadys Raya Gathering 08

This year, the HapyHadys Team decided to organise a hari raya gathering among the members. It was held at Kebun Baru CC at Ang Mo Kio. Wonder why we didn't think of this two years ago! heh... So anyways, it's an impromtu occassion. Meaning we will just go with the flow. Although Hady didn't come due to his sick-ness, it's still a day of fun and forgiveness.

Tadah! Pink baju melayu with sarung. It's actually the color theme for this year in my family. And also, there were some popular demand from the HadFiks to see me wearing a pink baju melayu. hehe...

The food was great! Special thanks to Kak Ad's parent for catering the delicious food for the event. And also a special thanks to Kak Ad for doing most of the job to make this occassion a success!

Before I started this entry, I would like to shout this out: I LOVE MY NEW BLOG LOOK! Actually it's the same as the previous one only that I change the background to a fading effect. So what do you think of it? hehe...

So anyways, I was invited by my sis-in-law a.k.a Soulvictory a.k.a SV a.k.a Nuraini Jumat(berape banyak a.k.a dah!) to her place last Friday for hari raya. So yeah, met up with Sis Zari at IMM. We were actually quite late cos I was late, as usual, and someone had her haircut done at IMM. haha... But anyways, nice food and good company for the whole night was completely great! And did I mention it's a must? =D

Hola! It was rather a busy week for me. Been attending lots of planned activities. So yeah, Im just gonna blog a bit about them.

13th Oct 2008 - Beginning of a new term
Last week was the first week of the second term. The schedules is abit tight but with new modules to take. Yeah, totally new except for PE and Life Skills. So yeah, nothing much happen, only that I have made a promise to myself to work harder for this term. So far, the first week was according to plan!

16th Oct 2008 - Zari's open house

Just a small hari raya gathering with fellow HadFiks. I was invited by my HF sis to her crib for hari raya. It was great. Nice food and nice family too! Thanks for the invite babe!

17th Oct 2008 - Official class BBQ

The school wants us to have this class bonding activity. So, we decided to have our second BBQ for this year! But this time was bigger with many food to gulp in. Good company and good laughter to accompany me through out the night! ECE 1E ROCKS la eh! More pictures here! Go click! =D

18th Oct 2008 - Raya open house at uncle's place
It was a last minute thingy. My mum didnt tell me about my uncle's open house! I was supposed to attend Kak Rozy's open house but ending up I have to give it a miss! I feel guilty right now. But still, family comes first. Hopefully, there will be no glitches next year! =D

20th Oct 2008 - Visit to Kak Noris' place

The HadFiks planned a visit to Kak Noris' place. It's been quite a long time we didnt meet her! I think I only meet her like once a year. LOL! So yeah, baju kurung was the dress code, like duh... There was great food and kuihs. And also a great video game that I played. haha... Macam budak kecik aku ni!

HSM3 & A Wish For My Graduation

Yeah, High School Musical 3. I'm really looking forward for it cos I heard some of the songs and they are just wow!

So anyway, Nuffnang sent me an email regarding HSM3. There's a gala premiere and guess what? I'm gonna blog about how my graduation will be like once I graduated from ITE.

Honestly, I have never experience how a graduation ceremony feels like. Simply because, it's not that I don't like to attend such meaningful events, but, coincidently, both my primary and secondary schools didn't organise any of such events! Yeah, that's sad isn't it? hehe...

So yeah, once I graduated from ITE, firstly, I would expect a graduation ceremony organised by my school! I would also expect that my graduation ceremony would be one meaningful event, with friends and teachers to celebrate with, and also expecting to wear a very smart outfit with shining black shoes. Simply because, I must look good in my graduation pictures! OMG, I sounded thick-skin am I? hehe...

Imagine going up the stage, shaking hands with the principal and get my hands on the cert. hehe... I've always seen students who had gone through such ceremonies and it makes me wonder when will mine be next? But most importantly, that day will always be fresh in my mind even if it would be 10 year down the road.

Hello fellow human beings! LOL. Just came home from Mediacorp. Watched the President's Star Charity with fellow HapyHadys. I'm really tired rite now. Not gonna brag alot about this event. The only thing I can say about the concert is that I really love the broadway concept!

The always crazy HHs!

It's a two-and-the-half-hour show. Yeah, that's consider quite a long live show. Of course, his excellency President SR Nathan was there too. This year's concert is really good. The music is just too good. I enjoyed most of the performances. After the show has ended, went to the usual place to meet up with my bro, Hady.

Dah lama tak jumpe abang aku ni! After Hady went home, and guess who we met? Taufik Batisah! Luckily he stopped he car to took photos with us. And yeah, I did take the chance to take a photo with him!

So yeah, when Taufik meets Taufiq. Very the powerful. kekekek... And that was my first time taking a photo with him!

So yeah, gtg now. New semester is tomoro! Time to meet my friends and teachers again! And it's time to play pool again too! Yay! =D

There She Goes To Germany

Yesterday (Friday) was actually a long day for me. Went to school for my Micromouse training in the morning. Yes, that's my second CCA in school. I have two CCAs in total. So anyways, after that I went to Tuas to collect my F&N prize in the afternoon. But the day didnt end there. At night, I have to go to the aiport. Reason being, Kak Lee is leaving for Germany! So yeah, QY, Seth, Ant and me sent her off.

Our Mdm Vice-President of HapyHadys FC was in town to celebrate Aidilfitri with everyone. Unfortunately, she can only stay for a few weeks. But that was good enough though.

So yeah, that's us! Featuring Kak Lee's son, Adam. hehe...

Well, that's all I could rant about. Hoping that Kak Lee could come to Singapore again soon. =D

Luck In The Morning Of 1st Syawal

Remember in my previous entry I said that I won a dining voucher from F&N? This is my second time winning a contest! hehe... Well, I have redeem the prize and Im gonna brag about it now! kekeke...

It was the morning of the first day of hari raya. As what I said in the previous entry, I was too excited till I can't even close my eyes to go to sleep. So yeah, thought of having a drink in the kitchen. Maybe it could make me sleep. So I opened a F&N orange drink. While opening, I remembered the advertisement in Suria about the F&N under-the-cap game thingy (the one that features Aaron Aziz) and it strikes me to look under the cap.

I look under it and I saw the letters, DV. I checked the information on the bottle label and it said I won myself a Dining Voucher. Wah, happy lah ape lagi? hehe...

So yeah, I redeemed the prize just now in the afternoon. Gosh, the sun was giving out intense heat! Worst still, I have to redeem it right at the end of this tiny island, at Tuas. But the travelling journey of one and half hours from Changi Airport to Boon lay and walking one big round of the Jurong Industrial Estate was worth it lah. Finally, I reached the redemption place, The F&N Coca Cola Company...

The lady at the reception counter of the Coca Cola building was superbly nice and she called my a gentleman. Cheywah! Dengar tu?! Gentlemen oi...!! And the lady who present me with the prize was nice too! Turned out I won a dining voucher at the Royal Plaza On Scotts worth $100.

So yeah, thank you F&N! Alhamdullilah, rezeki datang di pagi Syawal.

Raya Celebration 2008

It has been five days of Syawal. Been celebrating raya since then. Im quite tired lah. Been eating too many food and drank soft drinks till I'm sick of soft drinks now! hehe... But, raya is when all my relatives gathered and joked around with each other. It's not always that we can gather together like this due to work and school committments.

The takbir was heard on the last night of Ramadhan. I felt sad cos the holy month is leaving us. So yeah, first day of raya went to mosque with my dad and brother in the morning. I didnt actually sleep since last night. The house was finally cleaned up at 3am in the morning but I slept at 4am. Although I was so tired but I still cant sleep as I was so excited that hari raya is gonna be in a few hours time! Alright, get ready for a long post.......

Day 1...
I looked shagged, of course. I felt sleepy and my head was aching. I was proud to see orang-orang Melayu kita wearing the baju Melayu after leaving the mosque. Finally, our victory day is here. I was touched for a moment. Reached home, thinking that I could take a nap for a few hours. Unfortunately, I cant. My room was still in a hectic condition and my mum needed help with the food. So yeah, I didnt sleep till we have to visit the first house for the day, that is my grandparents' home.

After visiting my grandparents, went home. Again, thinking of taking a nap but no, people starting to visit my crib! From daylight to night, relatives and friends came. My house was like Geylang Serai on a Saturday night. Even some of my relatives have to move in to my room. hehe... Like many people always said, the more, the merrier... The atmosphere was great lah katekan...

More shoes to come actually. hehe... After my place was serang, went to my other relatives place. So yeah, more pictures in Multiply... And that is the end of day 1...

Day 2 & 3...
I didnt go out visiting. Instead, there were some of my parents' relatives who came. My cousin came with her hubby on day 2. And yeah, my cute lil niece, tasha also came long!

So yeah, the rest of my raya visitings were all pushed to the weekends, where everyone in the family was having an off-day.

Day 4...
Went to only two houses on this day. My sister's friend's place and my aunt's place. Gather with my cousins, nieces and nephews, makciks and pakciks at my aunt's place. Ate nice food and hanged out with my cuzz. We were trying to solve the rubics cube and play around with my nephews. Arent kids make hari raya more merrier??? Yes they are!

So yeah, thats the end of day 4...

Day 5...
Went to three houses today. My aunt's place and my cousins' cribs. Some of my cousins couldnt came along due to exams and other committments. Was quite bored but at least there are kids for me to play around with.

Results Are Out!

Yeah, my results are finally OUT! Got a C for DPA but As for the other two! Alhamdullilah. Although I'm abit sigh about my DPA results, at least it's a good grade.

Currently, I feel like going back to school. I suddenly miss school. Miss playing games of pool with my friends during lunch. Missing eating lunch with them. LOL! So please, 13th October come a lil hurry okay? =D

Well, first day of raya was great. My relatives came and we all had a great time. But this year's raya was abit not-so-enjoying compare to the past years cos exams are just around the corner for my cousins and the top of the list of that is that the first day was on a weekday! So yeah, we were rushing for time as the next day is gonna be a school/work day for most of my family. As for me, I still have ten days away till the next term starts. Im happy and at the same time, bored.

I did took photos during raya. But I'm gonna upload them sometime around next week cos I still have a few outings to go this weekend. So you have to wait okie? hehe...

Back Again

Wow, I didnt update this place for so so long! Been a busy bee these few weeks with raya preparations. Well, Im blogging this entry at 12.43am, so that means, raya is tomoro! I cant believe a month has passed and now Ramadhan in leaving us all and Syawal is coming.

Well, many things have happened during the fasting month. One of them is the departure of my neighbour three days ago. I was shocked when my mum told me. She is really a kind-hearted lady and always smile every morning when Im leaving for school. She is really kind to my family too. Everytime my mum is sick, she will prepare some traditional Malay medicine for my mum. Since she was sicked, my mum never fails to go to her place everyday to massage her body. And I still remember when I was young I always go to her place to play with her grandchildren.

Well, she passed away in Friday afternoon. Marilah kita berdoa dan berikan bacaan Al-Fatihah agar rohnya dicucuri rahmat. Amin.

With raya just hours away, my parents are now making the always-must-have raya dishes. Ketupats, cakes and kuih-muihs are all ready. We still have a few last minute clean up to do after cooking. And after that, thats it! LEPAS TU DAH RAYE DOK! Really cant wait for all my makciks, pakciks and cousins to come to my place and celebrate our victory day!

Btw, did you watch the Singapore F1 Grand Prix? OMG! I was impressed with how Singapore make the whole event a successful one. The scenery was spectacular! Lovely Singapore indeed! Well, Im not a big fan of F1 but watching the Grand Prix built the interest in me. As a fan of remote control cars when I was young, suddenly I felt that same feeling now as how I felt years ago! Amazing...

Guess what? Ms Sarina gave birth...!! heeee...

Received a call from a friend of mine from my sec school yesterday afternoon saying that my sec 4 form teacher has just gave birth to a healthy baby boy! Ape lagi? I quickly made my way to Thomson Medical Centre. Seriously, I thought everyone in my class last year is gonna be there. But only Eve, Farhana and me were able to make it.

So yeah, introducing the new family in the club...

Ms Sarina looked pale when we met her. We talked about school and stuff. How she's doing and what nots. I was happy to see her again after months of not seeing her. So yeah, we have to leave right after buka cos Farhana an Eve have school the next day.

This week is one hectic week for me. It's my exam week. Luckily I only have to take two modules. Was busy studying them and I am now happy to say that exams are finally over and holidays are finally here! Yes, I am happy. I was invited by Kak Rinie to her place for iftar and also to celebrate Myra's birthday. That princess of hers is now a year older and that makes her five years old this year. Amazingly, those who were able to attend were the HadFiks! hehe...

Monday, 8th Sept 08
It was my first paper, CMN. In case you're wondering what CMN stands for, it is Communication and Networking. I was struggling when doing the paper. Suddenly my mind went blank! I couldnt remember most of the things I studied for. I think it's common for students, exams nerve. If you're nervous, you tend to forget everything! So yeah, that's what I usually encounter during exams. But thank god, I manage to recall back the things I studied for.

To me, the paper was okay. Not difficult, not easy. Just okay, you know, in between. So now, I'm waiting for the results. Hope that I did well for it.

Tuesday, 9th Sept 08
Remember that I won a pair of tickets to watch the movie screening of Babylon A.D? Yeah, I went to catch it with Hakeem. It was held at Lido, Shaw Orchard. The movie started at 7.30pm. Both of us had to break our fast there. We both felt guilty cos our last paper will be on the next day and yet we were happily watching movie at the cinema while our friends were cracking the brains studying at home. Totally wrong timing man!

But anyway, my reviews about the movie... It is a motiveless-ending movie. I dont know what was the peak of the story. Im sure everyone agrees with me. Even yesterday's New Paper (11 Sept 08) reviewed about the ending of the movie, which was not a proper ending. But on the brighter side, the effects were superb! I would give this show a 3 out of 5 stars. If you want to watch it, you can watch it now at cinemas in fact!

Wednesday, 10th Sept 08
It was my last paper, DPA. Again, in case you're wondering what DPA stands for, it is Digital Principals and Application. I manage to do the paper. I notice that after I took the paper, there were some careless mistakes I made. Sigh. Well, like what Mdm Bok said to me, it's over. So yeah, dont need to worry. As for now, I can only hope for the best and pray that I pass all my modules. Amin.

After the exams, I have to rush to the Singapore Flyer. Another iftar session for me to attend. This time it's with the HadFiks. We had our iftar at Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits. The food may be a lil expensive but it is simply delicious! Worth it lah!

Thursday, 11th Sept 08
I have to return to school today to attend the Greenery Club meeting. We have to make this bookmark by using real leaves plucked from around the school. We have to enter this flower pressing competition once school reopen next month. And this is my creation of the day...

If you all remember, September 11 marks the day that shock the world. It's been seven years. So yeah, my god blessed the souls who have cost their lives in the tragedy.

My class planned a birthday celebration for all our teachers last Friday. I ordered donuts to replace the commonly-used cakes. A candle on top of a donut and waaallaa! HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!

Our class advisor aka form teacher, was surprised. I gave her a handmade gift, just like Qing Yu's, and she was shocked with the picture that was displayed. Maybe I aint good in choosing photos huh? hehehe.. Ma bad! So yeah, everyone sang a teachers' day song, took pictures etc.

Advanced Celebration For Her

31st August... Some of you may know that it is the date Malaysia gain independence. But other than that, it is also a special day for a girl that always like to tease me with her perfect english and what nots. hehe... Okay, let me get straight to the point!

The HadFiks celebrated Qing Yu's advanced birthday last Wednesday. It was held at Jurong Point Coffee Bean. Main plan was to meet up at 6pm. Instead, I met them at 8pm. All thanks to school. But anyways, better late than never right? =)

So white was the dress code. As soon as I reached, things started to go on. QY was surprised with a kebab-like ice cream wrapped with popiah-look skin. It looks yummy but I was disallowed to taste. hahaha...

Then came the cake-cutting and present-giving. We ordered a small yet delicious chocolate heart cake. Very rich in chocolate! Then it was the present-giving time! I made her a handmade gift! Another words, I make it myself, yes!

It turned out to be very nice! Just like those you bought from gifts shops! But mine with real potpurri (did I spelt that correctly?). The smell is simply aromatic! I think next time I should make handmade gifts to surprised a birthday boy/girl hor! Cos I make it sincerely from the heart.

So yeah, Happy Advanced 17th Birthday Qing Yu Mei...!! May you be blessed with good things around you and may our sibling-ships last long!

Hari Raya @ The City Launch

Being drenched in the rain...
Enduring the huge crowd...

I only have four words to say... IT WAS WORTH IT!!!

Reached Kg Glam at around 7pm. By the time, the lights were alrdy turned on. Beautiful indeed. Entered the Istana Kg Glam gate and things were alrdy so colourful, with people wearing traditional Malay costumes and whats nots. What's good about this event is that other racial groups were also invited to rise the occassion.

Hosts for the event were Mark Lee and Suhaimi Yusof. They were really funny. With Mark's Singlish and Suhaimi's jokes, no wonder they were both teamed up for this event!

After the opening ceremony, there were a few performances. And after that, it was Hady's turn to perform!

Honestly speaking, today's event was the best ever performance from Hady! He sang his own rendition of Berserah. It was so beautifully sung. Many sing along with him. Some even teared. The last part was even great! Honestly, I was touched.

He then sang YGMW, again. But this time it was really really nice! There were afew adjustments to the song and it was superb! Beautiful Day was then sung. Again, it was a beautful rendition even though the day, or rather night, was pouring rain. The part where he sing a long note made me go WOW! So yeah, everyone was amazed.

Left the place right after he performed. The rain kept puring down and I have school the next day. So people, if you want to view pictures, click here aite?

Dollah Kassim Charity Shield Finals

After weeks of waiting, finally, the finals is here!

Reached Woodlands stadium on the dot at 3pm. By that time, the whole stadium was almost packed with spectators. Me, on the other hand, supported the Perkamus team. In case of you are wondering what does Perkamus means, simply it is a short term for Persatuan Karyawan Musik Singapura I think. Not too sure though.

I love the part where the players for each team entered the stadium with motorbikes! And Suhaimi Yusof was the host. He was really funny when giving the details of the games! And yeah, I was the video man for the day too! =D

So yeah, below are the four teams that battle out in the finals...

*Clockwise: Mediacorp, Dramatis, Perkamus and Berita Harian*

So yeah, the first match was between the Dramatis and Mediacorp Suria teams. I wasnt didnt actually know the score but Dramatis won that round. After the delay due to heavy rain, the next match was between Perkamus and Berita Harian. Berita Harian won 1-0 over Perkamus.

Perkamus didnt get first. Instead, it got second. Well, at least its second! Congrats to the Berita Harian team for winning the cup!

Sinar Lebaran Recording

Alright, first of all, Im not gonna share alot about the whole event cos that will be call spoilers. So yeah, Im just gonna say just abit, and I mean abit, of the event.

The day started out okay. Introduce my mum to the HapyHadys was really nerve wrecking cos I have never bring my mum to any of Hady's event and also, never introduce my mum to any of my friends before! So yeah, that was the very first time though!

Before the show started, things began to be chaotic. There were problems about handling out the tickets ending up some of us sitting at the staircase of the theatre, including me and my mum. Which was seriously an unappropiate way especially when it is a hari raya event! I dont think it was a good start especially when that was my mum's first time with the HapyHadys. I was pissed and disappointed.

But luckily, the show was good! With funny comedians from Singapore and Malaysia to entertain us. You guys should catch Fauzie Laily's part! The rest of the show was fantastic especially with the best performance from the various celebrities. Okay, not gonna elaborate more about the event.

After the concert has ended, went to meet Hady with the HapyHadys. I promise my mum that I will bring her to meet Hady. Finally, she met Hady for the first time in real life. She said Hady was humble and nice and Im glad she was happy.

Alright, gonna end this post now. Gonna do my CMN project. Sigh, project here and there! Alright, bye! =)

Mercy Mercy (Me) Relief

This month is full with Hady's events and appearances! And yeah, this is one of them! It was held the day after national day at SOKA HQ. As the ambassador for Mercy Relief, Hady was invited to witness the event and also to perform. There were two mayors as GOHs too.

After the whole thing, it was time for Hady to perform his songs. He sang four songs altogether. He first sang Freedom. Followed by You Give Me Wings then Beautiful Day and lastly, a special song, Shine For Singapore. All was beautifully performed especially Beautiful Day. I think that was one good performance so far!

When it comes to Shine For Singapore, the mayors and two of SOKA people went up the stage to join Hady to sing the national day. It was totally kekek. hehehehe...

Happy Belated Birthday Singapore!

Yeah, she turned 43 yesterday! Still growing strong and peaceful. I didnt get tickets for the parade but that doesnt mean I dont get to see some of the show segments live.

Decided to go to Marina Bay with my friends, Dan & Mark.

We were there at 3pm in order to get good view. And yeah, somehow we did. At that time, Marina Bay was really pack! I could see reds everywhere!

Before the show started, entertainers from Japan came to entertain us with their funny acts. They were really good though.

Finally, after enduring the heat and crowd, the parade has started! But sigh, the rain started to pour down but that doesnt stop us from celebrating the nation's birthday! Okay, from here on, Im letting the pictures do the talking aite!

School Talk

Let me see... It has been quite a long time I didnt update about myself in here am I right? Okay, I shall update now though. Life for the past few months was alright. Things in school are getting stresser and my hair is getting longer. haha... So the very random...!!

Exams are just around the corner, in September to be exact. I have yet to revise my modules and the exams is in the fasting month. Yeah, it's gonna be quite a tiring month for me but I can take it cos Im used to it alrdy. Five projects to be completed, of which four is still in the making and another one coming soon. Sigh.

Help out in the parent-teacher meeting session cum prize award ceremony held in my school.

Basically me and other friend of mine have to help out with the communication networking section. Demostrating to the parents what does the occiloscope machine does and stuff. But the funniest thing is, non of the parents bother to ask about it. LOL! So yeah, it was a relaxing job. hehehehehehehehe... Okay, enough crapping about school!

Tomoro is Singapore 43rd birthday. I have planned to go and watch the parade at Marina Bay with my friends. So yeah, gonna be there early to get good view! Well, that's what Singaporeans are. Kiasu-ness! Okay, till then, see ya!

Dollah Kassim Charity Shield Week 3

Another week of the Dollah Kassim Charity Shield event! The third week to be exact. I didnt go last week because it was my birthday celebration with the HH Comm. But luckily I'm free to catch this week's match!

The dress code was blue. I didnt know why we were wearing blue on that day. Is it because of Hady or the Perkamus team. Both are blues so that means that we were there to support both side! hehe... Alot of off sides and glitches but it was one good match! Hady scored a goal for Perkamus.

And yeah! PERKAMUS WON OVER DRAMATIS! 3-1 was the final score which means that they will go to the finals this 17th August! Kudos!

Singapore Garden Festival 08

Went to the Singapore Garden Festival on Friday, 25th July 08, held at Suntec City. It was the first day of the event. I went there with my school's Greenery Club. Almost everyone in my class joined the club including me. Garden desiners from all over the world came and show their wonderful creations right here in Singapore. Honestly, it was a very good event. It's totally not a disappointment! =D

So yeah, pals for the day were Hakeem, Darren, Afiq and me. We called ourselves the Four Idiots on that day simply because we were like idiots I think. haha... Our tour guide, Helen, brought us around the place and explain to us the story behind each garden display. Some were fantasy, some were about love and many more! We were clicking our cameras away!

As for now, let me just give you a glimpse of the festival. I will show you some of the beautiful garden displays and flowers.

The display below basically shows some rocks amd sticks on a steep slope. This means that we have to face many obstacles, in life, to reach the top. How creative is that huh?

As for the next creation, by just looking at it, you will know what it is. Five stars and a crescent moon. Basically, it means Singapore! And this display is from Tanjong Katong Secondary School. *winks to idah* =D

Now, the next garden display is my most favourite of all! I think the theme is under the sea. There were so many people looking at it cos it's so fascinating! You can feel as if you were under a huge sea and looking at it at a short distance! There was water on the roof and lights shining above it. Which then shows the under water effect! Neat huh? =D

Ah... Another birthday celebration for me! A day after the HadFiks' interestingly-planned birthday for me. But this time it is not a double celebration nor was it a triple celebration. But FOUR birthdays celebration in one go! Neat huh? But this time it's from the HH Comm. It was held at Komala's at Peninsula.

Yay! I got myself a new bag and I'm lovin it! After everything has ended, we went to some camwhoring and play a game of pool at Marina Square.

My Birthday With HadFiks

Finally, a real birthday celebration for me! The HadFiks babes planned an interesting birthday surprise for me. It was held at MOMC. At last, the place I've been wanting to go to to try the place out! Well, it is a good place to chill with good music and food. But before the celebration.........

So yeah, before the real celebration, I was surprised with a 'mini celebration' at Raffles City Burger King. The gave me a brown package that contained my present and a small sign that says,"Happy 17th Bday! *Sorry no proper cake/present*" The cake/present was two oreo donuts from J Co. I was like... "Oh, Okay..." hehe...

But then, the worst is about to come...

I told SV if we could go to Makansutra for dinner and she strongly agree with it cos it has been quite a while we didnt go there. Eventually, I was ignored. Instead, we went to Bugis to have our dinner. Now, this is when the embarrasing moment is about to begin...

I was blind folded with an orange scarf, wearing a signboard that says,"I'm the birthday boy!" Worst, I was walking with all that around Arab Street! Imagine the mant people looking at me?! hahaha... But then, once I opened the blink fold, tahdaa!!!

FOOOOD!!! There was also a cake before I took the picture above. Followed by that, Mayuni Omar sang a birthday song along with his keyboard. And that was when I knew that I was at MOMC!!

There were three birthdays in the house that night. One of them was mine. And the birthday boy/girl had to go up the stage and sing a song. And yeah, you're right! I went up the stage and sang Always Be My Baby by David Cook. I didnt choose that song though but Mayuni Omar did. So yeah, imagine a restaurant full of customers and a celebrity listening to your not-so-nice voice. I was really nervous. Imgaine if Ken Lim was there...!! =D

So yeah, thank you my dearest HadFiks for this very special occassion!! This is probably the best birthday celebration I ever had in my life! So yeah, SV babe, wait for my revenge this coming December okay? haha *evil laugh*

Dollah Kassim Charity Shield Week 1

Yes! Another charity run that I attended. But this time it is the Dollah Kassim Charity Shield and it was held at Innova JC at Woodlands. It was held on Sunday, 13th July 08. The charity is actually a soccer tournament that will be played for the next few weeks.

The players are not unknown people. They are from the local Malay media industry such as from Suria, Berita Harian, Mediacorp and more. Of course, Hady was part of the event. He played for the Perkamus team. Since this was only the first week, it was just a friendly match. But then, Perkamus won!

Hady scored a goal for the Perkamus team though. =)

So yeah, the match ended at around 7pm. While waiting for Hady to dress up, we were joking around with Imran. That cute lil toddler is growing up and becoming smarter now! He really reminds me of my niece, Tasha. And heh, I like his shirt which says 'LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS' How mischive is that?? hehe...

And one more thing, thank you to everyone who has sent me the birthday wishes by sms, Facebook, Friendster etc. And also to Hady's mum who wished me an advance birthday. Till then, see ya around folks! =)

Jamiyah Carnival 2008

Finally, an event that is near with my crib! The carnival was held on Sunday, 6th July 2008. It was to celebrate fifteen years anniversary of Darul Ma'Wa. I was there for the artiste line-ups and of course for the mean of charity. It was a great charity event especially when celebrities like Hady Mirza, Dayang Nurfaizah, Didicazli and many more were there to perform.

Once I arrived, Didicazli was about to perform. It was actually a last minute thing that Jamiyah decided to call him to perform. His performance was great! He sang an acoustic version of Dambaam and another song he sang which I cannot recall. And yeah, he wasn't feeling well on that day but he took the time to come and perform all in the name of charity.

Next up was Revelina I think. It has been quite a while I didnt see them since Live The Dream. They sang Nakal by Gigi and it was one good performance.

Ahli Fiqir was also there to perform. Unfortunately, Mawar was unable to be with them cos she was hospitalised. But other than that, the performance by the other two was great!

The Beyonce of Malaysia was in the house too! That was the first time I met Dayang Nurfaizah live in Singapore! OMG, she looked gorgeous! She sang a few songs from her new album I think. Her voice and songs were simply awesome!

Last but not least, the person I have been waiting for to perform, the one and only, HADY MIRZA! hehe... He went up the stage wearing a red t-shirt with a black vest and as usual, he sang the same old songs again, Merpati & Freedom. But, it was a superb performance!

Since it was a charity event, the HapyHadys FC donated a total sum of $1170 to Jamiyah. Hady represented us and handed the donations to one of the Jamiyah crew on stage.

HapyHadys are generous bunch of people I could say. Even Hady said that. I proud to be a HapyHadys! LOL!

First of all...

SORRY FOR THE LOOOOONG HIATUS!

I've been really really busy these days. Alot of things to attend to and studying for my upcoming exams. And yeah, less than two more weeks to that special day! Cant believe time really flies!

Sunday, 29th June 2008, I went to the Cicakman 2 event held at Bukit Panjang Plaza. Went there with SV and gang. I didnt know that there were a few artistes line-ups. So yeah, Sleeq and The Lima were the performers of the day.

Believe me, that was the first time I saw sleeq performing live. I think there were great! And somehow Sharif Sleeq reminds me of Taufik Batisah. Weird huh? hehehe...

The Lima, winner of the Malaysia's reality show, Gangstars, were great too!

Apart from all that, KRU were there.

Of course, they are the creators of Cicakman. They were there to also release the Cicakman comics. So yeah, there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially release the comics.

And the crowd was good. Not a big turn-out but one thing for sure is that the shoutings and cheers were loud!

So yeah, went to FYI with SV and gang last night at Mediacorp. Mainly cos Roslan is performing! It is also my first time watching at the studio. Usually at the theatre though. I've not watched the show since day 1 so I dunno what the show is all about!

So yeah, it's just a talk show about our lifestyle and last night's talk was about Fashion. Was quite interesting and entertaining, especially if there is Suhaimi Yusof! DAN SOALANNYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehehhehhe...

Show ended around 9.25pm. Went to reception to meet Roslan and took a pic with him. Mind the dark background, Mediacorp went blackout that night!

An Idol Is Born

I was so nervous at first but in the end, our part was cancelled! And it all thanks to Junyuan Secondary School for being late! Promise 8.30am but arrived at 11.30am instead. Wth?

But on the bright side, we dont need to do the talk! Im a shy shy person lah... =)

It's been quite awhile I didnt update this ranting ground of mine. Been busy with school and of course, there is nothing for me to blog since there is no events for me to attend or anything interesting for me to blog about. But still, to prevent this blog from dying, which it is now, I shall blog again! A few random stuffs lah.

Watched American Idol results last night. I was expecting Syesha to be eliminated and I was right! I think she herself have expected to be eliminated. But I salute her for being the last girl standing in the competition! She is still a good singer but sometimes a small fanbase is quite difficult for her to go to the finale.

So yeah, my prediction is right! I've been eyeing on the both Davids earlier in the show and I bet they gonna meet face to face in the grand finals.

So the main question now is,
WHO IS GONNA BE THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL?

Is it David Archuleta? Or

Is it gonna be David Cook?

Well, first time in AI history that two of its finalise has the same name! I reckon it's gonna be an excititng finale show! I just can wait to watch it!

I'm having a 3-day break cos Monday is Vesak Day. Yay!!! And Tuesday is ITE sports day and it's gonna be held in College East! And Wednesday I have to give a speech infront of 80 secondary school students visiting my school! And Thursday I have a class test! Haiz... Quite a week for me next week!

Donut Date With Two Babes

Okay, don't get me wrong people! I didn't date these two ladies. (Purposely put the title as so so that you will be interested to read my blog! haha...) It is just an outing lah with both of my 'older sisters'. It is not a HadFiks outing but just a normal friends outing. It's been quite awhile I didn't meet these beautiful people so yeah, I think yesterday was the right time for us to meet up! =)

Meet SV and Zari sis at City Hall. We're going to J.Co to buy donuts. After that we went to Sour Puss at Esplanade to have dinner. The theme is all about cats! It's a simple restaurant but with no air-con.

And waiting for your food will take about 1/2 hour. Sianz. I think by the time your food arrived, your drink will finish. The food is quite nice and the price can consider okay lah. Like Swensens price standard. So yeah, I ate Katong Laksa (that's what the menu said) and it's delicious.

APM 08 & More!

Last Saturday was the ~~live telecast~~ Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM) 2008. Yeah, Singapore didn't show it live. Sigh. But anyways, I got nothing much to blog about APM though. Simply because I didn't go to KL to watch it live so I don't know how the atmosphere was. But still, I just wanna share some videos of APM that I think is worth watching! But that, will come later in the post.

I'm just gonna rant about our local artistes. I think this year winnings belong to Malaysia. They grabbed many awards. And I think Faizal Tahir won big for Malaysia. His speech was mostly in English. Slang some more! Speak BAHASA MELAYU lah oi! But then, it's up to the individuals! As for Singapore, Taufik Batisah won big, bringing home 3 awards. Hady and Aliff bring back with an award each. Sleeq and Didicazli too! CONGRATS! At least there is something than nothing!

First video I'm gonna share is Taufik's Sesuatu Janji performance. I think it was fantastic! The flip was just awesome! Nice dance move y'all! Who say Singapore talent is weak???!! Go rub your eyes properly please to those who look down on our talent pool! Hmmmpfh!

Yeah, my class advisor has some health problem till she have to be on medical leave for 2 months! Hope she's okay. Hopefully our CMA module won't be affected! I was having Life Skill lesson when I suddenly noticed something. MY CLASS IS DIVIDED INTO DIFFERENT CATEGORIES! I'm not gonna list out the different categories cos this is not an award show lah please! haha... I think it's too common in Singapore schools lah. So yeah, I have no doubt about it.

Earth Day

Today is the 22nd April 08. Which means today is Earth Day! In case you don't know what is Earth Day, it is the day where everyone in the whole world is commemorating. It is to make everyone aware of the danger of not taking care of the environment. The earth is getting hotter basically because of global warming. Global warming happened and it all thanks to humans who do not even care about the environment. Trees are cut down and hence, deforestation occured. There are plenty of things that caused global warming, not gonna drag too much about it. So please,

TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT!

Okay, let's put that aside. Let me change the topic. School was okay today. Class supposed to start at 8.30am. And guess what folks? I overslept and I woke up at 10am. *Clap hands* Yeah, although I woke up really late, I still make the point to attend the afternoon class, which is at 1.15pm. Cos I have promised myself to come to school almost everyday! =) And tomoro's timing is the other way round as today. Class starts at 8am but instead it starts at 1.15pm cos there is a teacher's meeting in the morning. I LOVE ITE! Kwang3~

Youth Eco Concert 2008

Youth Eco Concert is an annual event organised by the National Environment Agency to gain awareness of the public about the importance of protecting the earth from global warming and stuff that is related to the earth protection. It's mainly open for the youth, like myself. Duh, that's why it is called YOUTH Eco Concert for pete's sake!

But anyways, this year's event was held at Ngee Ann City. It was quite a good response lah. Many people came to watch their favourite idols and I'm not too sure if they came for the environment! LOL... Anugerah winner Aliff Aziz, Vasantham Star winner Ebi Shankara, Kelly Poon and Daren Tan of Project Superstar, Campus Superstar 2 winner Shawn Tok and of course, Asian Idol Hady Mirza were the celebrities there to perform and show their support to this event. The hosts were Brian Wong and Michielle Chia and the co-hosts were Kelly Poon and Joakim Gomez. Well, frankly speaking, I'm there for Hady only! haha... *evil laugh*

First performance was a percussion group from this particular school (Sorry, forgot what school it was). It was cool and I think they did great! But the audience was not so sporting please! Typical Singaporeans! They deserve a better cheer/clap for their performance. But anyways, lets move on. There were also some performance from two nurseries. Short and cute talented toddlers performed their musical acts. They all wore plastic bags as their costumes! How cool is that? Performing while saving the earth! haha... There were also some few segments. Just look at the pictures in my multiply okay?

Okay. When it comes to the artistes making their appearances, then people starting to cheer and stuff! LOL... Each artistes sang two songs each except for Daren. He sang his 3rd song for the finale. Then after their 1st performance, the host will ask them some questions about the earth. After which, they sang their next song.

Fast forward to Hady's part. He also sang 2 songs, Ordinary People and Freedom! And yeah, when he sang these 2 songs, something surprising happened on each song!

The surprise: He sang for a few minutes and guess what happened? One of the speakers, apparently the loudest one, suddenly went mute! So yeah, ending up he sang with a big voice but with a very soft music! But then, he showed his professionalism and sang as if nothing had happened! Wa caya sama lu bro!

After this song, the host asked him the same question as what they asked the rest. He answered in a funny yet sporting way. Then came the next song! FREEEEEEDOOOOM...

The surprise: He sang for also a few minutes then suddenly, for the first time in Hady Mirza history, he asked to stop playing the song and off the lights. Reason was, THE AUDIENCE ARE DEAD! haha... So quiet! haha... He then re-sang the song again.

Okay, sorry for the long hiatus. Been busy with the new school year. So far so good. Everything in school is going on well for me. I am happy that I was blessed with great friends. And hopefully more friends to come! So yeah, my new class advisor is Mdm Bok, aka BKE. Very motherly just like Mrs Kwan. And did I mention that Electronics Engineering class has expanded 7 times? haha... Used to be only 1 class during the January intake. But now, 7 classes since April intake students came in. Okay, that's enough about school life. Now, let me blog about the things I have not blog about, obviously. So here it goes...

My niece Tasha came to my place. OMG! It's been quite awhile I didnt pinch her chubby cheeks! Now her hair is longer, which makes her face looks round and cuter! I'm sure if you see her, you will go... Awwwww...

AWWWWWW... Cute isn't she? hehe... Tengok ah sape pakciknye. LOL. Alright, that's all abt my cutie lil niece.

Well, life has been quite tough for me these few weeks. Every moment I face, there will always be obstacles for me to face and sometimes it makes me really stressed out. Sometimes faith is not right by your side. You have to face it with patience and be willing to accept it cos there's a story behind every obstacles, may it be good or bad. That is what I'm facing right now. But one thing for sure is that everytime I hang around with my ITE dudes, I feel more relax and sometimes I feel that all my problems are settled. I'm really glad that I meet them in ITE.

Well, tomoro I'm attending the Youth Eco Concert at Orchard. Again, I'm gonna be there for that fellow. Supporting him since a handful of HapyHadys are going to be in KL for APM. Me: Oh... Okay...

HAHA yeah, Gay and I decided to attend the SYF Outdoor Band competition at the National Stadium. We went there to support our former school, Ping Yi. It's a every-two-year event. Which means the competition is held every 2 years lah, easy to say! So yeah, decided to meet him at Bedok. Thought we could have lunch at Banquet. Once we reached Banquet, Gay asked, "Shall we go Leisure Park?" And I said,"Ya hor! Near with National Stadium hor..." So yeah, we wasted our precious time and turned back to head back to the MRT station. Along our way, to and fro, I think Ping Yi is having flag day CIP. Could see many, I meant really many, Ping Yians asking around for donations around Bedok! And I was force by this junior of mine to donate. So yeah, I did! =) And did I mentioned the rain was really heavy?

Arrived Kallang. It was dizzling by then. Gay and I walked to Leisure Park instead of taking a bus. Gay knew the way. And his way was really an 'enjoyable one'. Everywhere we go, floods. Ending up my shoes are wet and my socks are drenched! All thanks to him. So yeah, arrived at Leisure Park at around 1.30pm. We walked passed the stadium and no one's there. Only got a few bands there. Leisure Park was EMPTY! Yeah, it's still new and the location is kinda far from the MRT station. So that explain why. And it's still new by the way.

We decided to eat at KFC. But we didnt! haha... Instead, we went to Koufu to have dessert. After that, we headed to the stadium. Ping Yi had just arrived by the time we reached. Entered stadium and have a chat with some friends asking about their lives. And then, the show is about to begin.

Okay. After watching all the bands performed, my favourites are the bands from Ping Yi, of course, the so-called stars, Tanjong Katong *winks to Idah* and Deyi. I think they did best! Ping Yi's nice and groovy dance chroegraphy, Tanjong Katong's creatice props and Deyi's beautiful effects! But Ping Yi was abit off to me this year. Mainly because this year is no longer combining with Springfield.

After all bands had performed, they marched in the stadium, all of them. Cos it's time to announced which bands win what. The announcer announced that Ping Yi won silver. And every Ping Yians was like, ahhhhh... But we're still happy about it. Tanjong Katong won gold with honours, as usual. Deyi also won gold with honours and surprisingly, became the best display band this year, beating Tanjong Katong. Okay, gotta admit, their performance are the best. After giving away the awards, Ping Yi band performed infront of the Ping Yi seating gallery and performed at their best! And I think they should have won at least gold! But then, it's a competition.

CAN'T WAIT FOR SCHOOL!

Yeah, that's what going on in my mind now. I dunno but I really want to go to school! This three weeks holiday has been quite a boring one. Most of the time I spent the whole day at home, sitting in front of the computer. And trust me, MY BRAIN IS RUSTING!

And oh, did I mentioned that I always sleep late and woke up late too? That definately gonna stop can? And yeah, I am proud to say that I'm officially BROKE! Yeah, you can laugh and joke around. But it's not funny lah! Imagine if YOU are in my shoes and I'm laughing at you. How would you feel? =/

Okay. I decided to do something new about myself. I think I wanna revamp myself lah. So here there are:
- Watch my diet. ;)
- Go to school often. (It's not always I didnt go to school la. Just feel like writing it down!)
- Brisk walking at least 4 times a week. (hehe... For the sake of my health!)
- Cut down my outside committements! e.g. Hady's events, birthdays etc. (-_-)
- Save money for future needs. (I know, you know ah! *winks to SV*)

So yeah! My so-called wish list!

Yesterday was American Idol, Idol Gives Back! Yeah, I'm looking forward for it and I managed to watched it though! Not bad, good show to be exact! If only Singapore has this kind of charity concert. But then, the main question is, IS THERE GONNA BE SINGAPORE IDOL IN THE FUTURE? 0.O" Haiz... And one more thing, Michael John is out! Sigh....

Hey there lovely surfers! Yeah, it's almost a week I didnt blog. Been busy and yeah, LAZY! But anyways, this week has been quite choatic. I don't wish to drag about it cos it will just make this post a rather sour one. For those who knows what I'm going thru right now, hope that you just keep it to yourselves cos I seriously don't find it a point to talk about it. People are just plain jealous of other people doings! But then, let me start this entry with a pleasant one!

Remember my previous post about my visit to Kak Noris' crib? Yeah, coincidently, it was the day I was supposed to celebrate Kak Ad's, fellow HH, birthday. I was in a dilemma. Or should I say, WE were in a dilemma. Yeah, Qing Yu and I were chatting the night before thinking of which one to go. It was such a difficult decision for us. But ending up, we went to Kak Noris' crib instead. Yeah, we felt terribly bad about it! So yeah, in order for us to say sorry, we decided to make something special for her! Here it is:

Believe it or not, we faced many obstacles while doing this! haha... I don't wish to elaborate them. So yeah, decided to meet Kak Ad right after we finished it. And guess what?

Visit to Kak Noris' crib & random stuffs

Went to visit Kak Noris and family at their crib last Sunday. It has been quite a long time I didnt meet her and yes finally got to meet her. Alhamdullillah, she and family are fine. I'm sure some of you miss her rite? I went there with fellow HadFiks. Met SV and Zari earlier to collect donuts at Woodlands. The makcik very the cool sia! hehe. Mampos kalau dia baca ni! hehe. But anyways, we sure had fun! Didnt expect to have many food on the table, especially chocolates! There's donuts, eclair, pizza, sandwitch and many more! I even tapao the cake cos I was too full!

Talking abt cake, not only one, but two cakes! A normal cake and a cookie cake. Of course, if there's a cake, there's a birthday duh! But there's two cakes, meaning two birthdays we celebrated on that day! Okay, the birthday I will brag later.

These are the donuts I'm talking abt. All chocolate donuts! 1 box of nut donuts and the other are customised donuts, HadFiks donuts to be exact!

Then came the food! Kak Noris' maid cook some Italian food, Honey Chicken, Roti John and many more yummy food!! Love it can????

This is actually for Kak Noris. Made by Kak Nora! Got grapes, strawberries, mango, orange and more!!! And I heard there's a story behind this basket! Wonder what it is eh? 0.o"

Okay, next up! These are the two birthday ppl! Abg Mail (Kak Noris' hubby) and Kak Nora. Kak Nora actually bought Abg Mail's birthday cake! haha... Before we actually serve the cakes, we do some silly things. SV, Zari and Kak Noris went to the kitchen. They close the door and off the lights! Kak Nora was like.... "Macam-macam la korang ni!!" haha. Poor Kak Nora but anyway, it was hell fun! So anyways, HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU TWO!!!!! =)

Wedding Affair.

I attended Wedding Affair finals last Thursday (27th March 08) at Mediacorp to catch the finalise battling out, peacefully, with each other and also to catch Hady performing. I thought that the show is gonna be boring but when I watched it, I did enjoy myself! But anyways, the 8 couples are good and they looked gorgeous. Hady sang From This Moment. Well performed! Congratulations to Jac and Meryylin for becoming Singapore's couple of the year!

After the show, the HapyHadys and Hady met. We chit-chated and took pictures. Long time we didnt meet him though. So yeah, we spent sometime together. It was only a 15-minute meet up. But it's good than never rite? And yeah, I did took a photo with Hady!

That's all I gonna say about Wedding Affair. I didnt take many photos. Just the 2 pictures above. And btw, I think I'm wanna focus more on myself from now on. No point showing care. But see how lah. And btw, Chikezie is out of American Idol! Sigh. Was expecting Jason to be eliminated. But then, it's a competition!

Just watched American Idol top 10 performance show! And this week's performances are the best ever, to me! And my top 3 favourite performances for this week are from Syesha Mercado, Michael Johns (hell yeah, he's like the best this week!) and David Cook!

Syesha Mercado sang If I Were Your Woman. Very soulful and a brilliant performance by her! Here is her performance:

Michael Johns is next! HE IMPRESSED ME TO BITS! He sang a medley of We Will Rock You and We Are The Champion. Hell yeah, the best performance so far and I think i's the best performance for this week! Got nothing to say about his performance. You just have to watch it yourself! Here is his performance:

Okay, it's time for David Cook! Oh my god. I'm speechless. He's damm original, natural, superb performance! He sang Billie Jean. I think he's the 2008 version of Chris Daughtry? So here is his performance:

David Archuleta did good, but I dont feel it this week. But he's in the 4th rank in my list for this week! I think his performance is good, but not superb! But it's okay, there's more weeks to come!! Brooke White's performace was really interesting! Simply love it! Kristy Lee Cook performance is not bad though! Love her performance this week! As for the rest, they did okay. But Jason Castro didn't impressed me at all. =)

I've just noticed something. Season 7 American Idol are all good in playing instruments! I dunno why but everytime they perform with an instrument, I really enjoy myself!

And oh, I heard that there's gonna be season 3 of Singapore Idol? I dunno abt this and it may not be true! But if there is, I'm looking forward and really excited for it! =)

Hey there! It's been quite awhile I didnt blog. Main reason is that there's nothing for me to blog about. Plus, no events or outings for me to go. It's holiday for me yet I'm bored. But anyway, I decided to blog today. Nothing much actually. Just random stories can? I don't want my blog to be deserted! haha...

So yeah, I've been sitting infront of my computer everyday, 8hrs each day! I must stop doing this or my eyes gonna hurt! But anyway, this is the only way I can do to escape from boredom! And yeah, if you noticed, there are 2 ads in my blog! I signed up for Nuffnang few weeks ago after reading some of its blogger's blog. They sure have good deals for their bloggers. So I decided to give it a try. And yeah, 2 ads in one go for a newby like me! But of course lah, there's a catch! I am paid for advertising the ads here! Sounds good rite? But then, I'm desperate for money! haha...

I decided to design my blog with a simple, one-row layout. I've been doing some trial and error to find the perfect design and yeah, this is the most simple and perfect design that I like. I know, you know lah. I keep changing my blog skin and I dunno how many time I have been changing blog skins! It looks abit untidy now. Just bear with it. Next week it will look better, hopefully.

Okay. I think I should share something with you guys can? Below are some pictures taken eons ago. So here they are:

My block was having some mini pasar 'siang' (opposite of pasar malam) at the void deck. It was actually during the emergency prepareness carnival. The food do looked yummy rite? But too bad, I didn't buy anything. It was raining heavily and for the first time, the void deck was too crowded! So here's the picture below:

Next picture was actually an accident somewhere in Simei. My class was on our way back to school from Changi Airport. And our bus came across this accident that involve a lorry, alone! The lorry was actually carrying boxes of mineral water. And the boxes fell on the road! Such a waste looking at the wasted, unsold drinks that spilled on the road! Dah la Singapore shortage of water! haha... But then, it's only mineral water!

Okay. Next is actually a picture of an album! I was just looking at the CDs at HMV a month ago and I came across Hady's album. And they actually put this:

Wahhh! ASIA'S FIRST IDOL! haha... And it cost $19.95! But it's understandable. GST have increased. Plus, his popularity have increased too! Now, I just couldnt wait for his next album to be released! Wonder when will that be? 0.O"

That's all for pictures sharing! And yeah, my computer have been giving me headaches these days! Everytime I wanna visit the next page, I will either not responding, especially blogger, or it will get stuck! And sometimes a pop-up thing will appear asking if I wanna report the error and then the window will close! Irritating rite? Especially when you are blogging, you will be more frustrated! And composing this entry has given me big headaches!

Last day of school...!!

Today is the 19th of March 2008. And I'm proud to say that my 10-week Bridging course in ITE are officially over! I'm gonna say this again, for the dunno how many times, that I can't believe time really flies! Many things I have learnt in ITE. Ranging from boring to fun things! The friends I made and cool teachers I met really makes my day in ITE a wonderful one! Okay, now I sound like as if I graduated from ITE! haha... But on a happy note, 3 weeks holiday baby!

There were some performances by students from Tampines and Bishan campuses on the last day. And yeah, something last minute happened. I was supposed to collect the tokens for my class but ended up being a stage crew again! And Mark was supposed to be my replacement, since he wear formally! And did I mention that everyone was wearing formal and look in their best? hehe... But then, in the end Aqilah is the one who collected the tokens. Interesting story huh? LOL... Below are the ppl from both campuses, waiting for the bus to come to take us to Marina South Pier for the cruise ride!

Fast forward to the afternoon activity. As this is our last day, both students from Tampines and Bishan campuses were on a so-called 'cruise ride'! Unfortunately, the rain was heavy. But fortunately, the ride was not postponed! Everyone was wearing formally and in their best thinking that we were gonna be on a real so-called grand cruise like Riverboat (slightly hidden in picture) or this one:

But it wasnt! Instead, in spite of wearing so formally and looking our best, this is our ship:

o.0" The most budget of all! No air-con and it's made of wood! haha... High hopes turned into fake reality! LOL!!! The moment I entered the boat, I was giddy! Well, everyone was lah. The boat then moved. The view was good. The food was great. Some prizes to be given away and then we played the passing game. Luckily I wasnt being sabo-ed! haha... After hours of riding, finally we were on solid ground!

Remember in my previous post I promised that I will share my turning frog project with you all? It was my first time uploading a video in Youtube. So here it is:

So yeah, tomoro is gonna be the last day of my 10-week Bridging course in ITE! Can't believe that time really flies! And also tomoro there's gonna be a closing ceremony for the Bridging course held in my campus. The principal and school board of directors are gonna be there too. So yeah, there's gonna be a few performances from student of my campus and Bishan campus. And I was actually picked to be the stage crew. But in the end, I have to be the representative of Electronics Engineering. Meaning I have to shake hands with the VIPs to receive some tokens for the whole class! =(

And yeah! Tomoro I'll be going for a cruise ride! I heard that we gonna tour ard Singapore and Kusu Island! And the dress code is smart casual! So tomoro, Insya-Allah, I will blog here and upload the pictures in my Multiply! Just stay tune okay? And also, I will be making a collage of my classmates during our 2 and the half months in ITE!

What a week huh?

I HAVE FUN IN SCHOOL LAST THURSDAY! hehe...

It was a whole-day practical day. I didnt go to school for 3 days for that week cos I was not feeling well. The rain was pouring non-stop. But luckily practical lesson made me happy! After lunch, came back to class. Mrs Kwan came in with a big box.Wondering what was inside that box. And when she opened it, it was a box full of these 2 toys (Actually there were abt 20 boxes of these):

A sound reversing car and a turning frog. So everyone was rushing to choose their favourites. But clever Mrs Kwan made a vote. We have to take a piece of rolled paper in a bag and see what is our toy! I got a sound reversing car! I was happy at first. But when I looked at the turning frog, I decided to change it cos its function is much better! And yeah, I got the frog! lol...

Each and everyone in my class got it and we were supposed to put all the parts together, just like putting together a Tamiya car. And we need to use our soldering skills to make this! We really really had fun! Everyone was minding their own business and for the first time, the class was peace! o.0" And this is how my frog looks like after putting it together:

Okay, let's change the topic. Saturday, 15th March, was one long day for me! Received a sms from SV in the morning asking if I could accompany her to Khatib. Main reason was: she dunno how to go to Nee Soon South CC. So yeah, I became her tour guide for the day.

Actually she wanted to send some food to the Hyrulites (Hyrul Anuar FC) gathering. At first, our plan was just to send the food and leave. But ending up we stayed for the gathering till 6pm! The gathering was good. I did enjoyed myself! Nice food. Hyrul was really close with his fans. Salute him for that! So yeah, these are the true fans of Hyrul, the Hyrulites:

So that's it about the gathering. After the gathering headed to SV's chalet. The HadFikz were invited by her to her family chalet. It was to celebrate her bro's GF's birthday. The dress code was white. Ended up, only us were wearing white. Her family also lah. But then, the food was nice! And believe it or not, after three years of stopping eating hotdog, I ate it at the chalet! Haiz... Here's a picture of us with the birthday lady:

Ant's birthday celebration, Hadfikz style!

Haha yeah! This is the second time I'm celebrating Mr. HapyHadys President's brithday! Qing Yu too! But this time we had a smaller birthday surprise, HadFikz style! We were supposed to have it at Bugis, but instead we had it at Vivocity's Fig & Olive. I was late actually. Was stuck in school but made it on time! It was actually a surprise that we hide from Ant. Another words, he had no idea of what's goin on. Unfortunately, I bumped into him at the escalator at Vivo! haha... That's go the surprise! =0

The food at Fig & Olive are nice! I had Corned beef with melted cheese sandwich. Very delicious!Had so much laughter! Later came the cake, the lights were dimmed and we sang a birthday song for him. The cake was from Bakerzin. Very rich and yummmmm...!! After that, went for the usual, must-do thing which is camwhoring! haha... It took us ages to get this photo taken! hehe...

Just watched American Idol on Star World! Sh*t! Another great talent was eliminated! David Hernandez was the one! But Im glad that David Archuleta is gonna be in the next round! Yay!!

Holiday mood!

Haha yes, it's the March holidays for primary and secondary school but not for me lah as I have alrdy entered tertiary life! =( But who cares rite? I will be having a 3-week holiday next week! Yiiihaaaa! But what makes me wonder is that, why school holidays are not like school holidays at all, especially in Singapore? Get what I mean? Yay, it's holiday! Boooo, got remedial during holidays! Or maybe CCA. Yes, we have to prepare for upcomig exams and everything but at least give us a break will ya?

Some of my friends have been complaining that they only have 1 day of holiday during the March holidays. Poor thing rite? Might as well dont call it a school holiday... hehe... Sometimes it makes me feel that the defination of school holiday is not that clearly elaborated by schools!!! Ooops... But anyways, that's school life!

First of all, congratulations to the three fans that were nominated, or sabo-ly nominated, by family and friends! But a big CONGRATULATIONS to Nuraini aka Soulvictory aka SV aka sis-in-law for clinching the award for Fan Paling Heboh (Most Loudest Fan) this year! You make us proud girl! And also a heartiest congratulations to all winners! You guys deserved to get the respective awards!

Okay. 7th March 2008, 8.30pm at Mediacorp. Yeah, it's Pesta! Pesta! Pesta! I went there with Kak Rinie, Kak Nora, Qing Yu, Seth, SV's mum and friend(I forgot her name la) to support SV and also the artistes. Too bad we were there slightly late. Actually thanks to Nora (Chatterbox) for chopping some seats for us. But however, we decided to sit at the upper gallery, where the view is better, which is not that perfect! =D This year's dress code was sports glamour. I was struggling of what to wear. I ended up wearing normal clothing. Im not the only one. Almost everyone in the theatre didnt follow the dress code! haha...

The stage was nice. It was a wrestling stage! haha... Yeah, of course, it's wrestling format! Fauzie Laily was the Ringmaster, Suhaimi Yusof as Leader for Gergasi (Giant) and Alias Kadir as Leader for Perkasa (Warrior). They battle with each other and it was so kekek, especially their costumes and silly performances! So okay, there were 11 categories. Let's talk about American Idol. Phew! David Archuleta is in the top 12! Yay-ness!! But Danny and Asia'h was voted out??? Yeah, although Danny has some attitude problem, but he have that nice voice and for Asia'h's case, she totally dont deserve to be out! But hey, a competition, is a competition. Must accept the fact! But anyway, Im glad David Archuleta is in the top 12!!! Hope you will be the next...... You know what! ;-)

End of April 2008! Yes! I can't wait for it to come! Why? Simply because my contract is gonna to end! Actually I'm using M1. It's a two-year contract but it's gonna be one year once April comes! The advantage is, once it's alrdy one year, I can change phone alrdy. But the disadvantage, I have to add in an extra 100 bucks cos, let me repeat it again, it's a two-year contract!!! Not one-year! But hey, I'm not gonna wait for another year...

Okay. There are too many choices in the market these days! I dunno which phone to choose. Shld I use Nokia, or shld I use Sony Ericsson? They are my current favourite handphone brands!

I've been eye-ing on these phones:

My so-called top 3 phones! Sony Ericsson's K810i, Nokia's 6500 slide and Sony Ericsson's K770i. What I like most abt these phones are their functions. Will consider which one will be my choice once the date draws near! =)

Okay, lets talk abt American Idol. I've just finished watching the guys round on Channel 5. All of them did good, some superb! And I think I'm gonna choose David Archuleta as the next American Idol! Boy, he is perfect! Talented, beautiful voice, humble, good looking - the full package of an idol! And did I mention that he is only seventeen? Yeah, same age as me! Sometimes I wonder why American teenagers are such good singers! O.0

I really can't wait for this Friday! I'll be watching Pesta! Pesta! Pesta! with some HapyHadys and frens! And yeah, good luck to my sis, who was sabo-ly nominated, and hope you get to grab that award! haha... I will make a banner or poster for you IF I got alot of time in the world okay? haha!!!

1st March 2008

Family chalet cum Maya & Nadia birthday party.

Went to my cousin's and niece's birthday party last Saturday. Held at Costa Sands. At first I thought it was held at Downtown East! But it wasn't! So yeah, reached there at around 5pm. Saw my cousins preparing the BBQ pit and food. After that, comes the cake-cutting time! Guess how many cakes were there? Not one. Not two. But THREE! Yes, two birthday cakes plus cuppies!

We were BBQ-ing and eating and playing games. Water bombs and poppers were part of the games! Really really fun!! Played Taboo with my cousins then. At first I dunno how to play it. But soon after, I'm getting the hang of it! It's quite fun to play! Especially with good companies. Fun, laughter and jokes really made my day! After playing Taboo, played pool with my cousin, Uzair. He taught me how to play pool cos it was my first time playing the game! Yeah, my first time! And now, I'm thinking of making pool as part of my leisure time! hehe...

Later at night, more of my cousins, makciks and pakciks came! The more the merrier! Went to the beach to play Taboo again! While playing, we talked abt Mas Selamat! How he escaped etc. After that, we walked around the beach. And then time flies, it's time to go home!

I would like to wish a Happy Double Birthday to both my cousin and niece! Study smart and be happy always! =)

2nd March 2008

Ant and Kak Rozy birthday dinner cum Hady's arrival.

We decided to celebrate Ant and Kak Rozy birthdays in one go! So yeah, we celebrated their birthdays at Sakura, Far East Plaza. Love the food! After eating, we sang a birthday song and it's time cut the cake! I love the cake cos it's from Secret Recipe! Yum yum! As usual we camwhore. But I didnt take many pictures.

To my bro, Anthony, HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY! Thanks for being a good bro to me. Thanks again for setting up the FC. Without you, HapyHadys FC won't be as successful as today! Hope that our friendship and bro-ship will last long! =)

And to my dearest sister, Kak Rozy, thanks for the help you have given to me. You are like a mother to me too! It's great knowing and working with you. By that, I would like to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Stay groovy okay? hehe...

After that, we went to the airport to fetch Hady. He went to Jakarta to attend Indonesian Idol audition and to perform at some of the local shows. So yeah, we waited for him at the airport the whole night. While waiting, we also celebrated him mum's birthday. Sang a birthday song. I can't believe that I celebrated five birthdays this weekend! Woahhh!! So yeah, I think about 30 ppl who came, including his family. And Imran!!!!

He exit the gate at 10.15pm. He was tired. We were too! But at least he is home safely! After that, we went home cos it's gonna be another Monday soon! Haiz... How I wish the weekend is longer! hehe...

Just read the news regarding the escape of Singapore's most wanted man, Jemaah Islamiah (JI) leader, Mas Selamat Kastari. I was shocked, at the same time, feared. The first thing that crossed my mind was the safety of Singapore. And for your info, he planned to attack Changi Airport few years back. What if he planned to..... Hmmm, okay, don't want to make you guys feel scared. But what is on my mind is how can he escaped from the detention centre? I thought Singapore has the best security system in the world (or perhaps one of the best)? And why was he in the detention centre instead of the prison? But hey, can't predict much. But one thing for sure, I don't feel save going out though.

Okay, lets now change the topic. Today is the 29th of February 2008. Yes, it only comes once every 4 years! Actually I didnt know abt it till I read the HH forum! haha... Silly me! And coincidently, my cousin's birthday fall on this date! So yeah, no wonder it has been quite awhile she didn't have any birthday parties! So yeah, tomoro we will be celebrating her birthday at Downtown East. Really can't wait to meet all my cousins, cute nieces and mischiveous nephews!

Till now, I still feel abit disheartened that APM is going to held in KL. Is not that I'm complaining regarding the location. I'm sure KLCC has good sound system and all. But it's the feeling of wanting to go that makes me gone siao! If only I'm working and earn big bucks and was given a complete freedom, no doubt of me going! Haiz... But it's okay. I have to endure! It's part and parcel of life. (Being emo for a few seconds!) hehe...

Okay. I feel like stopping here ppl! And btw, there will be an emergency prepareness carnival just infront of my block! I could hear the sound of tentage being put together now! It's gonna be a noisy yet joyous Sunday evening! See ya!

Free day!

I had a super long day at school yesterday (Tuesday). Can you believe that my class started at 8am and I reached home at 7pm? Yeah, a freaky and tiring 11hrs of school. Actually, to be exact, it's only 9 and the half hrs. I went to meet a friend after school, that's why I reached home at 7pm! And today (Wednesday), Hakeem and I decided not to go school. hehe... Cos there is only a bowling game for us to attend in the afternoon. So yeah, we didn't find it a point going anyway (Even though bowling is fun!). But then, we didn't go!

I spent the day out. Not loitering nor hanging around with friends but I just feel like going out. Plus, I need to get myself some school stuff! Went to my aunt's stall at Raffles Place. It's been awhile I didn't go there cos of school and outside commitments. So yeah, since I'm free today, decided to go there. Too bad my cutie lil niece was not there, or I have stayed a lil bit longer. After that, I spent a few kilometres walking from Raffles Place to Esplanade. Enduring the fact that my leg was cramping and the sun was really hot. But it's okay, going for a short sight-seeing is not wrong right?

My next stop was Sim Lim Square at Bugis. I need to get my school stuff there as the promotion will end tomoro (Thursday). Walking around the mall to find this particular shop that sells electronics stuff was troublesome till I noticed that it's located outside. Wth? So yeah, I need to buy myself a set of electronics equipment that nearly cost me 100 bucks! $94 to be exact. This is a promotion price though or it may cost me $400! Once I ask the salesperson regarding the promotion. I was shock at first cos he said that the promotion had just ended. Crushed hope.After waiting for quite a long time, and making phone calls, my hope was uncrushed! They gave me a so-called special after-promotion buy! hehe... So yeah, bought it and that's it!

Life as it is...

Believe it or not. My 10 weeks prepartory course in ITE is going to end soon. I can't believe that 2 and the half months is going to pass. My classmates and I will be on a cruise at the end of the 10 weeks. To where? Not to Malaysia or anywhere else, but just a tour around tiny Singapore. Heh... After that, I will be having a 3-week holiday and be back in April, where things will get serious. Well, for your info, I have not start school yet! Yes, since the first day of the year till now, school have not officially started for me. I'm currently going thru this 10 weeks course, as a guide of what's going to be like once I entered Higher Nitec. And yes, I learnt many new things and meet new friends. I began to fall in love with ITE. But I'm just hoping that once April comes, things will still be the same. Hopefully.

Many things I have to attend these few weeks. Ranging from birthdays to concerts. I'll be going to Pesta! Pesta! Pesta! on 7th March. Hope that the tickets are still available when I collect it next monday. It's gonna be my first time watching this cool show! Looking forward for it! I will also be having a family chalet with all my makciks, pakciks and cousins to celebrate my niece and cousin birthdays. Yeah, I love going to chalet!

Just received news that APM is gonna be held in KL on the 20th April! How? How? How? KL? APRIL? Wrong location and wrong timing! Will consider to go or not to go. But most probably, not going. Need money to travel and ticket, and it's a normal school period. Haiz... Seems like I'm giving this year's APM a miss! I'm sure some of my fellow HapyHadys are going. So yeah, if you try to make me jealous, better think twice! haha....

YOG 2010 Countdown & BEATS! events

21st February 2008, was the Youth Olympic Games 2010 countdown party held at the Padang. It is the day that will announce which country will host the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. Singapore and Moscow are the final two countries. Everyone at Padang was wearing red. Seriously, we looked like as if we were celebrating NDP! The atmosphere was so fantastic! I must say that it was a well-organised event. Kudos to the organisers!

As the day passed, more and more people flooded the seats and the streets. Singing, dancing and shouting was common. I did enjoy myself! Well, the main reason why I went there is to support Hady and of course, YOG 2010! First of all, I am proud to say that Singapore is gonna be the first Southeast Asia country to host such a honourable sporting event! Yes, SINGAPORE WON!!! So yeah, I will be expecting to see many youth sportmen and sportwomen from all around the world in 2010!

Okay. As for now, let me switch to fan mode. hehe... Before Hady came up on stage, he saw us at the seating gallery and waved at us. He was there to perform and also to support the YOG. Other than him, there were also other celebrities performing, Project Superstar winner and runner-up, Darren and Diya respectively. Before the results, Hady sang YGMW. After he sang, Daniel Ong, the host, asked some questions regarding Asian Idol. There were also some superb performances from various schools.

After the results, Hady sang again. He sang Stand Up For Singapore. Are we celebrating NDP? I asked myself... haha... He then sang Freedom followed by U2's Beautiful Day. I must say that his Beautiful Day performance is the best so far! The night was all about party-ing! But the HapyHadys and I left. We were really tired and it's gonna be a school/work day the next day! I think the government should implent a one day holiday to celebrate our nation's victory! haha... Okay. That's all about YOG event. Next stop, the BEATS! event...

22nd February 2008, was the BEATS! event held at Singapore Management University (SMU). I went there just to catch By Defination and Wicked Aura performances. Thanks to Kak Rinie for that free ticket! Went there with Kak Rinie and kids, SV and her mum and Kak Nora. Such a wonderful night we had! Performances by the two was really really superb!

HadFikz Birthday/Valentine Celebration!

15 February 2008, another wonderful gathering to celebrate! Yes, it's the first HadFikz Valentine's Day! The purpose of the gathering was also to celebrate our fellow HadFikz birthday, Zari. The celebration was held at Alaturka at Bussorah Street. We actually tricked Zari, saying that it was held at Amirah's Grill, which is only next to Alaturka!

The food there looks delicious, and taste delicious too! It's my first time eating Turkey food, even though I tasted Kebab before! hehe... As usual, cam-whoring, chit-chatting etc. And yes, Junaidi (Anugerah Skrin contestant) called to sing a birthday song to the birthday lady herself. Suddenly she lost her self-control! haha... Such a funny night we had together! And did I mention that I was the only guy? Again, for the second time! But hey, it's Valentine's day (belated actually)! And I have 4 lovely ladies surrounding me! hehe...

The cake was ordered at Sinfulcravingz. Very nice and creative cheesecake! Thanks to Kak Liza for that wonderful, mouth-watering cake! I began to fall in love with cheesecake ever since I had the first bite! hehe...
